back in London

Hello hello, I’m back from my adventures touring round Europe with Tim Hassall. We had a great time playing shows in Amsterdam, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Cologne. I met so many wonderful people along the way and do hope some of you have found your way here.

I’m now back in London where I’ll be doing a new record soon and playing lots of shows.  Watch this space.

busy times in singerland

hello all – life is gamblin’ – it’s also a rush but remember what townes says – livin’s mostly wastin’ time & i waste my share of mine

I am currently writing you from an old hatfactory in east london. I’ve been rehearsing this week with the lovely, talented Bo Bruce for a gig tonight with Barney too. Getting ready to hit the road with Tim Hassall next month (please join our facebook group by clicking here) but first there’s a Singerman & Company gig at the Festival of the Nine Muses in Didcot this saturday. The gang will include the Heartfelt Hats, Boxcar Joe Strouzer on blues harp, possibly (hopefully!) the glorious Gwendolen Chatfield on squeezebox & vocalisations, Jolly Molly Micklethwait, Uncle Rufus White , Jampot Always on who knows what, Tim ‘Dale’ Cooper (conducting the typewriter army) & last & least my beautiful dragon, Agnieszka, for inspiration.
